Bad Blood longlisted for the Manchester Book award
Bad Blood has been longlisted for the 2009 Manchester Book Awards. The shortlist will be decided by the young people of Manchester in November and there will be an award ceremony at the City of Manchester Stadium, Wed March 11, 2009, for the shortlisted authors.

Bad Blood longlisted for the Guardian prize
Bad Blood has been longlisted for the Guardian prize in May 2008. Julia Eccleshare wrote of the eight longlisted books: "...these brave and ambitious books portray the journey from child to adult as a complicated, hazardous and unpredictable one."
Rhiannon visited the Hay-on-Wye book festival where she was announced as a longlisted author and interviewed by Julia Eccleshare before taking questions from the audience. She also signed copies of her books for a queue of enthusiastic fans.

Boses Blut published in Germany
Bad Blood was published in hardback in Germany in 2008 by Fischer (ISBN 978-3-596-85297-0). It was translated into German by Anna Julia Strüh and Christine Strüh. A German audio edition (ISBN 978-3-86610-482-2) is narrated by Anna Julia Strüh and a paperback edition is forthcoming.
